A warm welcome awaits you at the 4 star family run Guest-house Alt-Na-Craig. Situated in the heart of Burns Country on the banks of the River Doon next to the Old Skeldon Woollen Mills, we are just five minutes from Ayr on the A713 road heading towards to Castle -Douglas.
Alt-Na-Craig offer you comfortable and informal accommodation so that you may enjoy a relaxing stay. We are close to many Ayrshire Golf Courses and to Prestwick Airport. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated and we have three en-suites, one located on the 1st floor and the other situated downstairs, which provides easy access for our guests using a wheelchair or with limited mobility. All rooms come equipped with Television, hair-dryer, alarm clock, hospitality tray with tea & coffee facilities and the owners home baking. Drying facilities are also offered as we welcome the fishermen among you and a freezer for the many catches, with packed lunches too. With a fully trained chef on the premises Alt-Na-Craig is able to offer evening meals for guests to try or if you prefer to go out 'The Hollybush Inn' is only 2 minutes by car from the guest house and there are other places a stones throw away which can be recommended. Internet facilities are available for guests use and there is a private driveway for guests to park their car in front of the house.
